SERIE//THE SILENCE AS FORM OF RESISTANCE

A narrative with photographs of people in contemplative places and moments when they are alone and in silence, whether during a wandering without a concrete destination or during a routine task, this silence as a private space that allows a deep respite, an intimate moment for reflection, a time to organize personal thoughts and feelings.

As the French thinker David Le Breton says, "Walking, like silence, is a form of political resistance, [...] a way of keeping an inner dimension safe from external aggression. Silence allows us to be aware of the connection we have with this interior space, the silence makes it visible, while the noise hides it. "

The photographs were made in Brazil, Germany, Belgium, France and Luxembourg, and while the artist walked alone and in silence.
